Shoulders Corporate Social Responsibility
(Hong Kong, 26 August 2021) – The companies of Xinyi Group, namely Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited (stock code: 00868), Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited (stock code: 00968), Xinyi Energy Holdings Limited (stock code: 03868) and Xinyi Electric Storage Holdings Limited (stock code: 08328), have fully supported Tung Hwa Group of Hospitals (“TWGHs”).fundraising activity “TWGHs Flag Day 2021”, with their employees engaging in collection of donations held on 25 August (Wednesday). Through their support, the companies of Xinyi Group have upheld the philosophy of giving back to society and shouldered their corporate social responsibility, with the aim of conveying warmth and hope to the underprivileged.
To take advantage of the greater number of commuters during rush hour, more than 20 employees from the Group’s Hong Kong office actively and cordially reached out to passers-by in Kwun Tong near its office starting from 8 a.m. on that day as they hoped to raise more funds for TWGHs. Through the efforts of employees lasting the whole morning, the funds raised will be used to enhance various social welfare and quality of education services of TWGHs.
Dr. LEE Yin Yee, B.B.S., Chairman of Xinyi Glass, said, "Amid the pandemic conditions, we are particularly concerned about the plight of the underprivileged. Through this support of TWGHs Flag Day, we hope not only to help to ease the worries and difficulties of the underprivileged, but also can spur the general public to care about the underprivileged.
